Features include Autotrol 268 5-cycle filter valve with 440i timers, 3/4 inch tube adapters, blue polyglass mineral tanks, basket distributors, manganese greensand, gravel bed and potassium solution tanks.

As a manganese greensand filter this device works best at a flow rate of 2 g.p.m.. It can be be operated as high as 4.5 g.p.m. but you may see some of the contaminents slipping through.

The back wash rate during regeneration is 5 g.p.m.

Regeneration chemicals

This water system recharges it self with a Potassium Permaganate solution. This iron filter comes complete with the exception of the regeneration chemicals. This system would holds 10 lbs which would last 6-8 months. Please order these separately.
